(Disclaimer: This is a personal research project for personal research reasons. I am using all book sources, and the sources available to me as I get them. I realize that not all sources are 100% accurate or truthful or academic.
This research is a life project, and is certainly not meant to be completely comprehensive. It is just my way of recording what I am reading, so that I can internalize the information better, and to help myself refind that information. The original reasoning behind this was to create a reference that categorizes names, symbols ideas and rituals under the context of what I call 'core concepts'. Core concepts are common ideas relevant to the human condition, and is often the driving meaning behind a lot of mythologies and stories about the world and its creation. For example, I have placed everything I find associated with 'fire' together, and everything associated with death, or the moon, or light all together in one place, without separating by geography or specific time period.
