* Arianrhod - Celtic goddess of the Silver Wheel (the stars) whos hub was the revolving castle (Caer Sidi), hidden in the underground spirit-land of Annwn. (WDS.16)

Creatures/Beings/People
* Hesperides - (greek) "children of the evening star" or "children of the west". The (3 or 7) daughters of Hesperus, Atlas, or the evening star. They guarded the apples of Hera, with the assistence of the dragon Ladon. (DM.127)
* Pleiads - 7 nymph sisters - Daughters of atlas, and attendants to Artemis. Pursued by Orion. Zeus changed them into a constellation to aid in their escape. (DM.216,217)


Symbols and Objects
* Fixed stars - in ancient astrology, the symbol of an 8 pointed star (usually black) - meant 'fixed star' (applying to all stars, really. The unfixed / wandering stars were planets - unknown to the astrologers then) (WDS.68)
* 4 Royal Stars (a big + cross, with a tiny+ in each empty corner) - Astrologers 4 royal stars are: 1) Aldebaran - 'eye of the bull' Taurus. 2) Regulus - 'heart of lion' - Leo. 3) Antares - heart of scorpipn - Scorpio. 4) Fomalhaut - mouth of the southern fish - Pisces. (WDS.53)
* Stars - in general, they are seen as living entities: angels, heroes, souls of the unborn, souls of the dead (made of ether), living souls/star connection, Goddesses (queen of heaven, mother of stars) (WDS.74)

Other Concepts
* The Soul - Eastern Mystics believed that the light of the stars inhabits the flesh as the immortal soul. (WDS.3)
