* Antelope Eyes - for islamic thinkers, these eyes symbolize contemplative life. (DSYMB.14)
* Pansy Flower - Ophelia says it means 'thought'. The french for for Pansy is pensée, pansée or pansé, which = 'thought'. A pansy flower also looks like a face in thought. (WDS.431)


Symbols
* 8 fold interlacement - a pattern that is endless can be a yantra to meditate on and induce trance. (see goodliness) (WDS.67)
* Mandala - many shapes and kinds. sometimes represents a map of the cosmos/universe, or symbolizes the realm of the deities. Mandalas are meant "for contemplation as religious exercize". (WDS.10)
* Nandyavarta - Hindu labyrinth - follow free end to center - 3 choices to go outward direction - symbol points to the "penetration of inner mysteries."A revelation to be found in a holy temple, womb, or the unconcious mind. (see mystery)(WDS.57)
* Yoni Yantra (upsidedown triangle) - 'yantra' in Sanskrit is a meditation sign. "Convey spiritual insight to those who sit and contemplate it. (Also, the yoni yantra is the pubic area of a woman, and all concepts associated ith it. (WDS.44) "creation, birth, love, motherhood, sexual attraction, fulfillment, cyclic time, kindalini force, mystery of conception, goddess within etc.." Triangle of life.
