* Mother spirit - the goddess who constantly transformed everything in the universe into something else: she who is called "heart of transformations" (WDS.32) (origin?)

* Werejaguars (half man - half jaguar, or one able to transform into the other) - prominent figures in olmec art. (MEX.63)


Symbols and Objects
* Wheel (also symbolised as circle with 6 equal pie shapes, or 6 equal lines from center). The fates ruled the wheel of rebirth and transformations. (WDS.17)
* Wand tool of transformation - invokes the mother spirit, called 'heart of transformations'. Fairies carried magic wands, witches carry wands of any kind, depends on the individual, (WDS.32)
* Mask in ancient times, people wore masks as an impersonation of their deity. Egyptian gods appear as humans wearing masks. teutonic word for mask is 'grim'. sometimes part of the deity name, the divine personality resides in the mask. To prevent pagan deity manifestations, the medieval church forbade wearing them, but the practice continued through Halloween and Carnivals. (WDS.145)
